Miranda Marschalk is a Psychotherapist and Certified Life Coach. She has over 16 years of experience counseling individuals and 1 year counseling groups. She specializes in Narrative Therapy and works to help her clients discover new ways of seeing and living their best lives. Miranda studied Nursing at George Brown College, Life Coaching at Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching and Psychotherapy at Sick Kids Centre for Community Mental Health.
Starting out as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Hospital setting, she has taken her career through many different landscapes of the profession. She has been a front Line RN and has also worked in Health Management. Her areas of expertise are in Mental Health and Geriatrics. She has also lead group counseling sessions, focusing on Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy.
Miranda is an excellent listener and client advocate. She has a way of getting to the root of the issue with gentle probing, helping lead her clients to self- discovery. Her technique is one of talk therapy, using her strong attention to detail to draw out key triggers and motivations. Even the smallest revelation can bring about profound meaning leading to lasting understanding and change. She will lead you on a path to tap into your strengths, becoming the active pilot on your own journey.
